 Director of Shared Service Procurement
Position Summary
The Director of Shared Service Procurement reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain Management.  This position is responsible for leading system wide procurement of supplies, services and equipment with the goal of providing high quality, efficient and cost effective service to the organization with an emphasis on internal and external customer service.  Included in Shared Service Procurement and under the direct purview of the Director, are setting and achieving standards of performance, coordination of the supply chain process, supervision of personnel and collaboration with all regional health corporations and system departments in order to achieve the mission of the organization.  This individual will ensure the application of legal, ethical and sound business practices through the establishment and adherence to policy and procedure.  The position will also be responsible for administering continuous process improvement, benchmarking, performance measurement and reporting.
Shared Service Procurement includes, but is not limited to, determining specifications, identifying sources, integrating the contracting process, ensuring institutional approval, optimizing group purchasing, contract compliance, procuring product, managing the number of suppliers, optimizing supplier relationships, addressing invoice discrepancies and resolving customer issues.
The position will have responsibility for the leadership and supervision of approximately 55 FTEs in conjunction with administering procurement operations that have a total spend of approximately $700 million for supplies/services and $400 million for capital.
This position will make significant contributions to supply chain management from a price, quality and service perspective.  The incumbent will take an active leadership role with executive leadership, clinicians and stakeholders on proactive supply chain management strategies to achieve excellence in supply chain.

Manager of Procurement
Position Summary
The Manager of Procurement reports to the Director of Shared Service Procurement.  This individual is responsible for the daily operations of Procurement which encompasses system wide procurement of supplies, services and equipment.  The position manages and provides leadership to Product Line Specialist Team Leads, Buyers and Assistant Buyers, and collaborates regularly with the Customer Service team.  The Manager leads Procurement staff that is responsible for determining specifications, identifying sources, integrating the contracting process, ensuring institutional policy (e.g. signatory authority), optimizing group purchasing, contract compliance, order placement, pricing accuracy, expediting, addressing invoice discrepancies, and resolving customer issues.  The Manager works collaboratively with Accounts Payable to assure prompt and accurate payments and General Ledger reporting
This individual ensures that established service levels to the RHCs (Regional Health Corporation) are consistently achieved.  This position has the goal of providing high quality, efficient and cost effective service to the organization with an emphasis on customer service.  
The Manager works strategically with RHCs, system office departments, and Supply Chain Management work units to identify, analyze, decide and implement leading practices and expense management initiatives.

Position Summary
The Manager of the Call / Contact Center and Customer Service reports to the Director of Shared Service Procurement.  This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Call Center which provides customer service for Shared Service Procurement.  The position manages and provides leadership to Customer Service Representatives and maintains an advisory relationship to Materials Management Coordinators who are based at the RHC.  This individual will set objectives, organize work processes, monitor call center activity and provide leadership to staff.

Item Master Administrator (IMA) - Materiel Management
Responsible for maintaining the Item Master of the Materiel Management Information System (MMIS) for MLH Purchasing and Inventory including the importing, retrieval, reporting, transfer, updating, and integrity of data.
Essential Accountabilities:
Implement, administer, and maintain MLH Materiel Management Item Master within the system.
Produce and/or advise on ad hoc reporting needs.
Report and log discrepancies to System Administrator.
Provide timely and accurate responses for all inquiries in a positive and professional manner regarding information necessary from the Item Master.
Act as resource for Materiel Management based on concerns about the Item Master.
Advise on standardization processes of item consistency.
Frequent communication updates with System Administrator.
Data management/ maintenance
Maintain integrity of Item Master, including additions or changes in conjunction with approval from the Materiel Management's Contracts Department.
Upload price changes in a timely manner with effective dates.  
Notify storerooms or end users of significant changes with regard to items in the MMIS.

Position Mission
The Business Director, OR Materials Management manages all duties and responsibilities of business support staff within the OR Materials Management department. He or she is responsible for managing the department's $52M budget and leading departmental cost reduction initiatives. This position reviews all products entered into the Patient Chargemaster and acts as the chief liaison with physicians for new product requests. The Business Director, OR Materials Management researches all item requests for duplications and recommends existing alternatives.
The Business Director, OR Materials Management reports to Senior Director, OR Materials Management. He or she supervises a staff of four including a Systems Administrator, Senior Buyer, Buyer and Patient Charge Coordinator. The position has a dotted line to EVP & CFO. Overtime the Senior Director, OR Materials Management is planning to transition out of organization and then the Business Director, OR Materials Management will have a direct reporting relationship to EVP & CFO.
