 President's Message..
Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter
January 6, 2009
First and foremost, Happy New Year to all!  Second, thank you for making 2008 such a successful year.  Your continued support has made our organization voted one of the top five chapters in the country.
I am excited and very much looking forward to the year ahead of us.  I will continue to serve as President in 2009 as will our Secretary Lisa Carr.  In addition, please welcome our new treasurer, Mr Burt Wilson.
We have several changes to update you on and these can always be found on our web site.  However, our #1 priority is to ask you to renew your memberships.  To do so, please complete the application form on the web site (www.sepaconline.org).  This is mandatory this year as we are updating our data base and want to make sure everything is current.  Completing the webform will generate an invoice for you to utilize for payment and/or reimbursement.  The invoice will contain credit card payment instructions as well.
Please renew as soon as possible so you can take advantage of the AHRMM ON THE ROAD DISCOUNT PROVIDED FOR THE ALL DAY EVENT BEING HELD ON JANUARY 23, 2009.  All renewal fees, application and details for the AHRMM event are posted on the web site.   I strongly encourage all to utilize our web site and its features (www.sepaconline.org) on a regular bases..   If you have suggestions, ideas and/or items you would like to see added, please feel free to contact me.  It is a communication tool to be used by all.
We have a number of business-related items to tell you about as well.  We have updated and will be posting our Chapter By-laws on the web-site in the near future.  Please take the time to review.  We are also finishing the process to be incorporated in the state of Delaware.  We have purchased and now utilize QuickBooks Software for our finances.  This will help us with accounts payable and receivables, membership renewals and records, meeting attendance, treasurer reports, etc.  It has already paid for itself in the two months that we have had it in place.
We are also seeking members new and old to get involved as an officer.  Please review the By-Laws or contact any of the board members for details.  This is an opportunity to enhance your career and receive recognition throughout the country.
We have some exciting presentations scheduled for February through April and our Annual Golf Outing will be held in May.  Our membership continues to increase and I am excited to say that we have a quite a few more CMRP'S.  Thank you all for seeking this certification.
On behalf of the Officers and Board Members, we truly appreciate all the support!
Sincerely,
Deborah Rey
