SEPAC is the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of AHRMM. AHRMM is the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management. This organization’s mission and objective is to lead, educate and promote Resource & Materials Management, supporting cost effective quality healthcare. In order to achieve this, the association provides networking opportunities, which facilitate the flow of information and ideas among members and related partners.
SEPAC promotes and facilitates communication that builds understanding between partners and members. It delivers educational opportunities to meet the needs of the changing Resource and Materials Management healthcare environment.
SEPAC also promotes achievement and professional development of its members, building the value of the National membership and developing new business ventures, ensuring financial stability, strong membership and national recognition as the leader in this field.
SEPAC of AHRMM, through continued communication, education and research, promotes resources, educational sessions and business opportunities, in order to improve the Materials Management/Purchasing Profession while allowing each member to take part in improving the health of all individuals in the communities they live, work and serve.

President's Message..

Happy New Year to all!

I apologize that I could not deliver this message in person at our first meeting of 2008, held on January 15th.  I understand that even with the cold weather it was a success.

I am very much looking forward to the year ahead of us.  I will continue to serve as President in 2008, as will Anita Keenan as Vice President and Treasurer, and Lisa Carr as Secretary.  I look forward to serving you again as this is the last year of my term and I am confident that we will receive the AHRMM Gold level award with your support.  With that being said, I do want to update you on a few changes.  First, I strongly encourage all to utilize our web site and its features (www.sepaconline.org).   If you have suggestions, ideas and/or items you would like to see added, please feel free to contact me.  It is a communication tool to be used by all.  Also take notice of our RECOGNITION BOARD which will be on display at our next meeting and at all meetings thereafter.

Next, please note of our new membership fee.  The structure has changed as we are trying to make things less difficult for all.  You have the option to pay in advance for your membership and dinner meetings.   Membership renewals should be completed on-line and payment made through PayPal. You will immediately get a receipt for reimbursement.  You can still pay by check and mail it to our PO Box.  The different levels also offer you a discount.  If you renew your membership or become a new member by the end of January and have paid for the January meeting, you will receive a $25.00 discount off our golf outing which will be held in May.

We are also seeking members new and old to get involved as an officer.  Please contact either Anita or myself for details.  This is an opportunity to enhance your career and get recognition throughout the Country.

We have some exciting presentations scheduled for February through April and our Annual Golf Outing will be held in May.  Our membership continues to increase and I am excited to say that we have a quite a few more CMRP'S.  Thank you all for seeking this certification.  

I truly appreciate all the support that you, our members, bring to our chapter.  You are what makes SEPAC of AHRMM a success.
